A.P.C. Madras is a collaboration between Jean and Judith Touitou and Jessica Ogden. The Jamaican born Ogden, known for her deconstruction and affection for arts and crafts inspired layering and distressed fabrics, has worked on several incredible collaborations (including Fred Perry) since deciding not to continue her own collection. A.P.C. Madras started while Ogden and the Touitous were on a trip through India. The idea was to make a collection that was easy indoor to beach wear, using light Indian Madras cloth made in Chennai. Since then, the collection has grown, and Ogden continues to deliver airy classics with a vintage feel.
