My Favorite Cardigan: Collection K Open Cardigan

This mustard must-have is unique but everyday basic. The exposed shoulders flounce it up and set it apart from all the other cardigans in my closet! Peeking out of the shoulder slits is another favorite of mine, the Avery Safari Blouse by Valentine. The sweet colors and light fabric remind me of cotton candy! Living in San Francisco, I need perfect layering pieces to throw on and a big bag to tote them in. My pick is the Drake Tote by Boyy because it has tons of space when you need it, and when you don't just cinch it up!

We mentioned the bow trend in March, and we're going to be covered in bows through summer. Light and flouncy, oversized and ribbon, any bow adds youthful femininity without giving up sophistication. Gabriela Artigas jewelry looks like modern art and is often described like it. Her first collection in 2003 was made from toothbrushes, and you can even find Gabriela Artigas jewelry in the Museum of Contemporary Art's catalog! Last season, Gabriela Artigas' collection had a strong tribal theme with chunky wood and bone looking pieces. This year, she let's us in on her bow obsession and channels the Grecian goddess with chain (plus charm) headbands. If bows aren't your thing, there are some edgier elements like oxidized chains, a skull necklace and a skull pin.

I will be traveling to the Hamptons and Cape Cod regularly this summer to get away from the city heat. And then I’m getting married on the Cape in August.

A great summer cover up and flat sandals that can transition from beach to cocktails. My favorites are my Chanel grosgrain and chain leather thongs and my Milly white crochet dress!

The Long Weekend: What to Pack

We're all in a rush to get out the door to start our long weekend. There's a barbecue waiting for you we know, but take an extra minute and just go over that checklist one last time before getting in the car or cab. Some things you can leave behind and not miss, but others you'll kick yourself for forgetting. Don't leave the house without packing these 4 basics: comfy, basic tees (try V-necks for him), shorts (short short for her), fun color shades (most of them are unisex), and SPF! That's all you'll really need. You can pack more, but you probably won't use 99% of the rest.
