What happened to the days when men threw on beautifully tailored garments and thought nothing of it? Loden Dager heralds the return of the well-groomed, effortlessly stylish man with its collection of impeccably made clothing. Created by a collective of artists and designers including Alexander Galan, Oliver Helden, Paul Marlow, Matthew Sandager and Melissa Vail, Loden Dager showcases their talents for sleek construction while still giving a nod to contemporary ease.
The designers tap into bygone eras and their corresponding modes of fashion, from ‘40s masculinity to ‘60s mod to early ‘70s revolutionary. Above all, Loden Dager produces timeless sportswear that is incredibly wearable, incorporating small details that make the garments special.
After winning the Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation award for new and promising talent in men’s design, Loden Dager is set to take men’s fashion in a more refined direction. Spring 2008 highlights an elegant approach to menswear as a refreshing response to a predominantly casual style. We say, welcome back.
